After running out of my Fresh Soy Face wash and Fresh Lotus Youth Preserve Face Cream with 7 Complex, I was beyond ready to make a quick trip to Sephora. I must admit I was eager to try the new Fenty Beauty by Rihanna. To my dismay, most of the Fenty Beauty products were sold out, but it’s a Rihanna brand so go figure. Since that was a fail I figured I would refocus my attention on what I went to Sephora for in the first place (face wash, face wash, face wash!!!). With that said, I made my way to the skincare section. In my skincare product wishlist post, I mentioned a face wash and moisturizer I had on my radar.

My budget only allowed room for a new facial cleanser but I did end up making another small purchase as well. As I was waiting to purchase the Philosophy Purity Made Simple Cleanser, I got lost in the sea of sample sized products that lined the checkout area. I came across a moisturizer, Olehenriksen Sheer Transformation Perfecting Moisturizer, it was only $12 for 1.5 oz and I needed a moisturizer… so why not? Fortunately, the Olehenriksen moisturizer turned out to be a nice last minute purchase.
The Olehenriksen Sheer Transformation Perfecting Moisturizer provides a sheer hydration that is rich in antioxidants which smoothes skin texture and evens skin tone while promoting a brighter complexion. Olehenriksen has done a great job at giving me the moisture my face needs but has failed to give me that glow I want (I’m coming for ya La Mer).
I am absolutely loving my new Philosophy Purity Made Simple Cleanser. It may not smell as good as Fresh Soy Facewash but it has been able to cleanse my face while retaining moisture. Glad I can check this one off my skincare products wishlist!
I have about 2 face mask left of my Rose Face Mask and my birthday is coming up so I might have to treat myself to another Sephora trip real soon.
